Do you enjoy letting your imagination slip off to places far, far away? Are you inspired by the surreal, by the fantastical, by the strange? Are your cinematic juices bubbling, just waiting for the opportunity to direct your own mini film? Cincinnati Museum Center challenges you to submit original short movies to our first ever Mini Maker Film Festival.
The theme for the inaugural year is Make-Believe Masquerade. We invite beginner and experienced filmmakers alike to submit work that explores this theme. What does make-believe mean to you? Where do you travel to in you daydreams? What’s behind a mask – figuratively or literally? We are looking for work that feeds the imagination, explores audio visual experimentation, and celebrates the maker mindset.
Taking place during the Cincinnati Mini Maker Faire, this 21-and-up film festival will showcase Cincinnati’s talented filmmakers with screenings of selected films. The event will also include food trucks, craft beers, local bands, and makeup & costume vendors!
