Fall and Winter Break Museum Camps
Fall and Winter Camps will be taking place at Union Terminal and the Cincinnati Observatory. Museum Camps at Cincinnati Museum Center in November and December will continue as planned! While Museum Camps will not be accessing the Duke Energy Children’s Museum, we are excited to visit the Holiday Junction featuring Brickopolis exhibit and look forward to days packed full of fun activities and engaging programs. See below to browse times, age groups, locations and themes.

K – 2, LEGO: Master Builder: A Master Builder doesn’t need instructions, just their imagination! Take part in building challenges and let your creativity run wild.
3 – 6, Harry Potter: Potions: Join Museum Camp’s Potion Masters as we create sticky and fizzy concoctions by using the best kind of “magic”…science!

K – 2, LEGO: Trains: All aboard as we chug along the tracks and visit Holiday Junction to see amazing train displays! Next stops – learning about the mechanics of trains, building LEGO trains and making some train-tastic crafts!
3 – 6, Harry Potter: Care of Magical Creatures: Unicorns and thestrals and hippogriffs – oh my! Learn about these fantastic beasts and meet some curious critters who live at Cincinnati Museum Center!

K – 2, LEGO: Art: From building amazing LEGO sculptures to painting with LEGO bricks, try your hand at creating your own LEGO art creations!
3 – 6, Harry Potter: Muggle Studies & Ancient Runes: Practice your ancient runes and de-code secret messages. Dig up some history as we learn how Muggles lived in the past. Learn what, exactly, the function of a rubber duck is!

K – 2, LEGO: Boats & Bridges: Can you make a LEGO boat that floats? What about a bridge that could withstand an earthquake? Put your engineering skills to the test as we dive into a world of boats and bridges.
3 – 6, Harry Potter: Defense Against the Dark Arts: From Draco to Bellatrix to Voldemort – this day is dedicated to the villains of Harry Potter! Make your own book of spells, practice your dueling skills and learn how to defend yourself against the Dark Arts.

K – 2, LEGO: Dinosaurs: Dig up some fun as we learn all about dinosaurs. Explore different types of dinosaurs, dig up and identify fossils and show off your prehistoric knowledge as we build LEGO dinosaurs and have a RAWRing good time!
3 – 6, Harry Potter: Triwizard Tournament: It’s time to put your wizarding skills to the test in the Triwizard Tournament! You have been chosen by the Goblet of Fire to participate in games, trivia, dueling and the Triwizard Cup scavenger hunt. See if you have what it takes to be a Triwizard Champion!

K – 2 and 3 – 6, Living in Space: Do you have what it takes to be an astronaut? Put your skills to the test as we explore what astronauts need to live and thrive in outer space.

K – 2 and 3 – 6, Rockets!: Three… Two… One… Blast off into an awesome time! Explore spacecraft technology and build your own bottle rocket.

K – 2, Super STEAM: Story Book Science: Lovers of stories and science – this camp is for you! We’ll experiment to make a Seuss-worthy oobleck and put our engineering skills to the test as we make a zip line to save Rapunzel from her tower.
3 – 6, Super STEAM: Intro to Robots: From Brush Bots and Doodle Bots to Ozo Bots and preliminary coding – learn about the basic mechanics and technology of robots!

K – 2, Super STEAM: Construction: Get ready to put on your hard hats and safety vests as we learn about construction! Practice your building skills and meet some of the construction workers who are restoring Union Terminal!

K – 2, Super STEAM: Get Messy!: Spend the day getting your hands dirty as we dive into some messy science and icky, sticky experiments.
3 – 6, Super STEAM: Fizz, Flash, Bang!: Have a blast at this camp that is exploding with fun! Create firework paintings with film canister rockets, make exploding baggies and construct your own poppers to celebrate the New Year!
