POSITION:

INFORMATION AND RESERVATION SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (FT)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vista Ticketing System Administrator:

Application administration for Vista, our scheduling and ticketing system:

Responsible for all aspects of system maintenance including creation and maintenance of programs, resources, pricing tables, discounts, letters and forms, and ticket design; event management, including building of routine events and removal of unused events; management of users IDs and security; workstation installation, basic user training report customization; and MuseumTix administration for web sales, including posting program descriptions and images.

Database Maintenance

Including data cleanup. Monitor sales and scheduling performance, correcting critical errors when possible, and communicating with departments concerning performance issues that are detected, including providing training materials and support as appropriate. Extract data from Vista, including statistical data, both routine and on request; and data for mail and email marketing.re

Support, Including Intranet Support

Provide general application support, including updates to the CMC intranet site, as well as occasional weekend support for critical problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree with coursework in Computer Information         Technology preferred; demonstrated equivalent considered.One year as Database Manager or Systems Administrator.Working knowledge of MSWord, Excel, data management and Html required. Training in applications and database administration and data analysis, report writing, Html and basic programming desired. Ability to update software applications in a networked environment. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.  Technical knowledge of ticketing/box office systems is a plus.  Qualified applicant must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment, utilizing good judgment and problem solving to ensure the best outcome for our users and Cincinnati Museum Center. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Position is full-time with benefits. M - F or T - Sat with occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays (Christmas and Thanksgiving excluded) if needed.
