POSITION: Marketing & Advertising Internship
DEPARTMENT: Marketing & Advertising
DEADLINE: Friday, March 26, 2010 before 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Developing and implementing marketing, advertising and promotional plans for Cincinnati Museum Center’s exhibits, films, museums and attractions.
- Work collaboratively with community partners and help to develop and maintain appropriate community partners for various projects.
- Maintaining the planning and implementation of integrated marketing and communications plans for exhibits, films and special programs.
- Follow through with other departments to identify goals and objectives in order to develop strategic marketing plans to accomplish them.
- Learn how we take individual marketing budgets and determine the most strategic way to allocate the budget through various mediums.
- Work with the graphic design department to implement creative elements for ads.
- Other duties as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in editing and writing
- Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field
- Creative thinker
- Organizational skills
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable in a team management environment
- Capable of managing multiple projects at one time
- Capable of researching Detail-oriented Self-starter
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Projects:
- Writing ad copy.
- Helping to develop and creatively ad to marketing and promotional plans for specific large exhibits and films.
- Research new vehicles for advertising.
- Develop an excel list of community partners.
- Developing specific promotional strategies and providing the execution, as well.
- Other projects as they arise.
