ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

In 2008, CMC moved to a new database software call KE EMu as part of its commitment to make collections more accessible to a wider audience and through a variety of media. All data records need to be verified and corrected after the conversion process – more than 200,000 object/specimen records.

The purpose of this project is to assist CMC in creating an accurate database record of its three dimensional artifact collections and natural history specimens. Once the data are verified and images linked to data records, CMC will be able to produce on-line exhibits based on our collections, provide specimen information for researchers and allow visitors a larger look into our collections.

This is a behind-the-scene position based at the Geier Collections & Research Center.
