Spring Grove Cemetery Tours

(Open to all Musuem Center Volunteers)

Tuesday,August 15, 10 a.m. to noon

Spring Grove Cemetery & Arboretum was chartered in 1845 and encompasses 733 acres. Its founding fathers were committed to maintaining the landscape – a radical idea in the 1800s – which resulted in one of the most magnificent examples of landscape architecture in the country. Enjoy a special guided tour of the blooming flowers at Spring Grove as we wind between the six lakes, pass the Civil War section, admire the four State Champion trees and learn more about some of Cincinnati’s Notables and Founders. This is a walking tour, so wear walking shoes and also dress for the weather. *Note: In case of inclement weather, the tour will be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date.

Please RSVP to Angie Smorey at (513) 287-7025 or asmorey@cincymuseum.org. Meet at the Lakeside Mausoleum (park along the west side of the Mausoleum).
