Interns are individuals attending an accredited institution of higher education and will be entering their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year as an undergraduate in the fall of 2010, or have graduated within the past year, or are currently enrolled in graduate school. Individuals can volunteer in order to earn academic credit or to gain experience. Please follow the steps below carefully. Complete application packets will be accepted on a rolling basis for the fall.
Time Commitment
Internship Fall Session
10 weeks (exact dates will be determined by Intern Mentor and student)
Interns must commit to at least 20 hours a week. Shifts are flexible and depend on assignment. Positions are unpaid, but offer volunteer benefits in addition to academic credit.

All complete application packets will be reviewed and sent to the three departments of interest indicated in the cover letter. If a departments’ Internship Mentor is interested in pursuing you as a potential intern candidate, he/she will contact you to schedule an interview. During the interview you will discuss your academic program, your interests/experience and your availability. Individuals that are offered an internship will be notified via e-mail, pending a clear background check. After agreement that Cincinnati Museum Center would be a good match for your internship, orientation will be scheduled to review the policies and procedures of Cincinnati Museum Center.
