This room was once only available to those rail passengers traveling by private car. To accommodate that upscale clientele, the room features a lovely balcony area - where musicians once entertained - as well as an original ceiling mural of Cincinnati by the French artists Pierre Bourdelle. A frequent location for lunch meetings and business dinners, this room is also an ideal setting for wedding ceremonies. The carpet can be removed for dancing, making it a perfect complement to its neighbor, the Losantiville Café, with dining in one room and dancing in another.

Virtually unchanged since 1933, the Newsreel Theater served to keep waiting rail travelers abreast of world news. The 100-seat theater features original upholstery, small stage, screen, and VHS projector. It's a great location for a small seminar, film preview, or a breakout session during an all-day meeting. (Due to the original construction and historic nature of the Newsreel Theater, no wheelchair access is available to the stage.) |

Specific exhibits make this museum an excellent choice when a group consists of out-of-town guests who wish to learn a bit about the city they are visiting. They can enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres throughout the exhibits, ending up on the Public Landing for dinner. The Public Landing is a recreation of 1859 Cincinnati, complete with cobblestone streets, shops, and a 90-foot stern wheel steamboat. This is a great location for small wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate dinners and off-site convention receptions. |

This museum is a colorful contemporary space that lends itself well to hands-on fun and family-oriented events. While seating and dinner is set up in the lobby of the museum, the door to the exhibits is open to your guests exclusively. While groups with a high percentage of children most frequently rent this space, adult groups looking to "act like a kid" for an evening are certainly welcome, too! |
