The Robert D. Lindner Family OMNIMAX® Theater maximizes visitor experiences

In its 14-year history, the Robert D. Lindner OMNIMAX Theater has welcomed approximately 5.5 million visitors. According to IMAX Corporation, this makes Cincinnati Museum Center's OMNIMAX Theater one of the most successful in the world.

OMNIMAX/IMAX theaters are located in 25 countries in cultural centers, museums, theme parks and world's fairs. Cincinnati Museum Center's OMNIMAX Theater opened on November 10, 1990 in the historic Union Terminal with the Cincinnati History Museum and Museum of Natural History & Science.

The five-story domed screen in the OMNIMAX Theater is made of perforated aluminum. The theater also boosts one of the most sophisticated digital sound systems with 44 speakers in seven clusters behind the dome.

Cincinnati Museum Center is a part owner in six IMAX films:

Admission to the Robert D. Lindner OMNIMAX Theater is $7.25 for adults and $5.25 for children (ages 3-12). Seniors (ages 60+) receive a $1 discount. Members receive discounts on admission.
