Culture Join Cincinnati Museum Center March 15-16, 2008 and discover the diverse heritage, dance, music, crafts and culture of Ireland, Scotland and Wales, at Celtic Lands Culture Fest. In its tenth year, this FREE event is the fourth in a series of five Passport to the World culture fests, which give visitors a chance to experience cultures from around the globe. Celtic Lands Culture Fest features fancy footwork, traditional Celtic music and an array of art and folklore from the British Isles. Visitors can also shop for authentic wares in the marketplace, and enjoy a variety of activities, which include:
Also, don't forget your Passport! Visitors will receive a Passport, which they can get stamped at various stamping stations. Once the Passport is full, it can be exchanged for free admission to one museum. All three museums have developed support programming around the event. Times: March 15-16, 2008, noon to 5 p.m. Cost: Celtic Lands Culture Fest is free and open to the public, with the exception of activities that take place within the museums, which are subject to general museum admission. Parking is $5 per car. The 2007-2008 Passport to the World series also includes Asian Culture Fest, April 26-27.
