“The girls learned a lot about caving experiences that they couldn’t get from a book. This was an awesome program. I would definitely do it again.” ~ Laurie, Girl Scout Troop 386

The Cincinnati Museum Center adventure can be available 24/7! Grab your sleeping bag and pillow—groups can spend the night in the museum with the popular Cave Overnight.
Cincinnati Museum Center Cave Overnight ProgramsHave you ever wondered what happens at Cincinnati Museum Center once the visitors go home and the lights go out? This is your chance to experience your own overnight museum adventure! Our fun and educational program is set in and around the world’s largest artificial limestone cave. We offer an in-depth exploration of cave formations and cave biology, and visit our fantastic ice cave exhibit. To top off the experience, guests are treated to a screening of the OMNIMAX film Journey into Amazing Caves. Schools love the program because it meets state science standards and Scouts love it as an easy introduction to caving. All overnights begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 10 a.m. the next morning. A light breakfast of cereal, fruit, juice and milk is provided. The cost is $28 for each person, with a ratio of at least one chaperone to every 10 campers. The program is best for children ages 7 and up. Schedule one of our public overnights today for the 2006-2007 school year! We can also schedule private overnights for groups of 45 or more almost anytime. Call our Information & Reservations department at (513) 287-7021 to register or to schedule a private overnight. Happy Caving!
