Scientists from all over the world study the abundant and well-preserved fossils in Museum Center's fossil collection housed at our Geier Collections & Research Center. On Saturday, October 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., geologists will be here sharing their passion and amazing fossil collections at our National Fossil Day.

The day is filled with hands-on geology missions throughout all three museums, including You are the Geologist challenges in the LITE Lab, scavenger hunts to earn points in Nature's Trading Post, an extra 300 points earned for fossil information presented in Nature's Trading Post, Smartboard Geology games, cave tours in the Museum of Natural History & Science and other engaging fossil activities for visitors of all ages!
