Portion of OMNIMAX film ticket goes to American Red Cross Cincinnati Chapter
Storm Chaser returns to Cincinnati Museum Center
CINCINNATI– Tornado Alley, the current OMNIMAX film at Cincinnati Museum Center, has captivated audiences for months as it seeks to learn the science behind these dangerous and powerful storms with the VORTEX2 mission. It is the most comprehensive science mission of its kind and seeks to discover earlier storms forming and better warn those in its path. And now you can help them give back. From Friday, July 15 through Thursday, July 21, $.50 of each ticket purchased for Tornado Alley will be donated to the American Red Cross Cincinnati Chapter to help local disaster victims.
And the man who made the breathtaking adventure possible is returning to Cincinnati. Sean Casey, storm chaser and director of Tornado Alley, will be heading back to Cincinnati Museum Center with his tornado intercept vehicle (TIV). Fresh off their most recent storm chasing season, Sean, TIV driver Marcus Gutierrez and the TIV will be in Cincinnati on Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 24.
You can meet Sean and see the TIV from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 23. Then come visit them at the Reds game at Great American Ball Park on Saturday in the Fan Zone. On Sunday, July 24 visit the guys and the TIV at Cincinnati Museum Center from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Don’t miss the chance to hear Sean introduce the showings of Tornado Alley and get his inside perspective on the film!
