Cincinnati Museum Center is proud to offer programs for Daisy, Brownie, Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts. Join us for our classic programs as well as some new additions!

Daisy Clover, Rosie and Sunny Petals

 
Spend the day learning how to use resources wisely and make the world a better place through kind and helpful conservation acts. You will make murals, reuse materials and even visit our garden in the Museum of Natural History & Science.

Brownie Senses Badge

Brownie Home Scientist

Discover what science experiments have been hiding in your own home. You’ll make emulsions out of condiments, rockets out of soda and even bend water with a static charge!

Scheduling a Program

All programs include private demonstrations, discussions and exploration of the museum after the program takes place. Call (513) 287-7021 to reserve your place!

  • $13 per scout, one chaperone per five scouts free, $6.50 per additional adult.
  • Scouts may spend the rest of the day of their programs in the Museum of Natural History & Science.
  • Payment in full is required at the time of reservation.
  • If you must cancel, there is no charge up to two weeks before the program date. Within two weeks, there is a flat $25 cancellation fee per troop.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any date that is not filled to the minimum. Programs are closed as they fill their maximum capacity.

 

Private Scout Programs

Can't make it to any of the scheduled programs? Private scout programs allow you to pick the day and the badge for your group. Programs are available on Saturdays at 12:30 and 3 p.m. and on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Each program lasts 2 hours. Cost is $200 for up to 15 scouts and three adults, $13 for each additional scout and $6.50 for each additional adult. Call (513) 287-7021 to book your program!

 

Girl Scout Way Overnight

SOLD OUT!

Celebrate 102 years of Girl Scouting while earning your Brownie, Junior or Cadette Girl Scout Way Badge. This unique overnight will focus on the scouting traditions created by Juliette Gordon-Low and the many girls that have followed in her footsteps. You’ll enjoy a badge program and earn your Girl Scout Way Badge, explore the Museum of Natural History & Science and spend the night. In the morning you’ll watch the OMNIMAX®  film Flight of the Butterflies, where you’ll see the monarch butterfly take an amazing journey! Breakfast and a light snack will be provided.

  • Brownies: While earning your Girl Scout Way Badge you will learn Girl Scout songs, create your own Girl Scouting mural and make a sit-upon!
  • Juniors: While earning your Girl Scout Way Badge you will create a time capsule with your troop, sing Girl Scouting songs for all occasions and honor the traditions of Girl Scouting by inventing your own game to share.
  • Cadettes: While earning your Girl Scout Way Badge you will lead a Brownie troop in song, celebrate strong women in history that have inspired you and learn about your sisters in Girl Scouting from around the world.

Time: 7 p.m. Friday, March 28 until 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29
Cost: $35 for scouts; $28 for adults and leaders
