For members of the Major Giving Societies who have special interest in a program area, our Giving Clubs offer opportunities to engage with a museum’s research, collections, and educational programs, through tours, receptions and other special events.

1788 Club

Named for the founding date of the City of Cincinnati, this club supports Cincinnati History Museum and Cincinnati Historical Library programs related to the collection, preservation, and presentation of the history of our region and its people.

Hopewell Council

Named after the 2,000 year-old Hopewell culture, this club supports Museum of Natural History & Science education and environmental awareness programs, global scientific research and collection preservation.

Treehouse Club

This club supports research and programs at the Duke Energy Children’s Museum that enhance the lives of children through play.

NEW! Grandparents Club

The Grandparents Club of Cincinnati Museum Center pays tribute to the unique relationship between grandparents and grandchildren. Grandparents have the special honor of introducing their grandchildren to the world beyond the classroom and teaching them that learning is an adventure! By investing in the Grandparents Club, you help ignite your grandchildren’s imagination, providing the next generation access to a world of ideas, activities and hands on learning. Beginning Saturday, May 12, 2012, Cincinnati Museum Center opens one hour earlier for Grandparents Club members on select dates. This exclusive time offers a relaxed and fun opportunity for families to experience the Duke Energy Children’s Museum, Museum of Natural History & Science and Cincinnati History Museum before they open to the general public.

Join us for the following Grandparents Club Saturdays (dates subject to change):

• Saturday, April 27, 2013: Celebrating Earth Day – Museum of Natural History & Science opens at 9 a.m.
• Saturday, June 15, 2013: Duke Energy Children’s Museum opens at 9 a.m.
• August 2013 (date pending): Grandparents Club Discovery Luncheon and all three museums open at 9 a.m.
• Saturday, November 16, 2013: Cincinnati History Museum opens at 9 a.m.
• Saturday, December 7, 2013: Pancakes with Santa and all three museums open at 9 a.m.
