A Warm Welcome!

Welcome to the 7th International Conference on Trilobites & Their Relatives to be held at Cincinnati Museum Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A, July 14 to 18, 2022. We look forward to hosting participants from all corners of the globe in our iconic 1933 Art Deco Train Station, Union Terminal. This international conference occurs every 4 years and attracts professional scientists, graduate and undergraduate students, serious amateur paleontologists, and interested members of the public. The goals of the conference are to present and discuss recent progress in studies on all aspects of trilobites and their relatives (e.g., morphology, evolution, phylogeny, ecology, development, and geography).

COVID Statement

The Organizing Committee and staff of Cincinnati Museum Center are dedicated to hosting a safe meeting for all participants and visitors to the building. Following other meetings and recommendations for large indoor gatherings, proof of vaccinations or a negative COVID test within 2 days of the meeting will be required. This meeting will also be required to comply with Cincinnati Museum Center requirements which currently requires masking indoors at all times. These requirements will be updated as the COVID situation and institutional and governmental policies evolve. Home institutions and countries may have additional restrictions associated with international travel.

As we have seen over the past 2 years, the situation with COVID is ever changing. We are currently dedicated to hosting an in-person meeting in July. However, we recognize that we may need to pivot quickly to either a hybrid meeting or fully virtual meeting in the event that travel is restricted or new variants spread (i.e., Omicron). We are watching the situation closely. Due to the fact that we have to plan a meeting with associated costs, we may not be able to fully refund registration fees if the meeting goes hybrid, virtual or is cancelled. We will do our best good faith effort to keep everyone informed of our decisions as we move forward.
