2015 Free Fridays

June 12, July 24, Aug. 21, Sept. 11 & Oct. 23, 2015
4 to 8 p.m.

Visit Duke Energy Children’s Museum, Museum of Natural History & Science* and Cincinnati History Museum free of charge! Climb through the tunnels and bridges in the three-story woods, travel back in time in our immersive ice age exhibit and step aboard a replica of the 94-foot steamboat, the Queen of the West.

During the June through September Free Fridays, explore Treasures of Our Military Past. Through uniforms, weaponry, medical instruments, supplies, photographs and documents, the exhibit honors the courage and sacrifice of men and women who served our nation for over two centuries. Such military efforts include campaigns launched from Fort Washington, the War of 1812, the Mexican-American War, Civil War, both World Wars and post-World War II military action in Korea, Vietnam, the Cold War and more recent conflicts.

Free Fridays include special programming, extended hours and free admission to all three Museums. Parking is $4 after 4:30 p.m. and $6 before 4:30 p.m.

Other attractions

While you’re here run, jump, row and throw in Science of Sports. Challenge your body and mind as you explore how incredible feats of athleticism are just science at work. On Free Fridays, admission to Science of Sports is $5 for non-Members and free for Members.

OMNIMAX® admission is not included in Free Fridays, but tickets can be purchased online, in person or by telephone at 513-287-7001.

* Due to the large volume of visitors during Free Fridays, the Museum of Natural History & Science is unable to complete trades between 4 and 8 p.m. in Nature’s Trading Post. We encourage all visitors to complete a Scavenger Hunt and return it to Nature’s Trading Post with their first name, last name and phone number with area code so our staff can award your account with points for later use.
