Walking tour of Sears Houses

10 to 11:30 a.m.
10:30 a.m. to Noon
11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

  • Arrive 20 minutes to allow for check-in and ensure prompt start time.
  • Dress for the weather.
  • Wear comfortable shoes.
  • There is standing throughout the entire tour.
  • There will be uneven sidewalks.
  • Tour is NOT handicap accessible.
  • No restrooms available.
  • Lunch or water is not included.
  • Must be at least 12 years of age and if under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • This tour meets at the parking lot at The Shroder High School, 5030 Duck Creek Road, 45227
  • DO NOT park on Eastwood Circle. It a small one-way street. Parking there will interfere with the residents. Thank you

Directions:
Take Interstate 71 North

  • Exit Red Bank Express Way
  • Right on Duck Creek Road
  • Turn RIGHT into parking lot for The Shroder High School, 5030 Duck Creek Road, 45227
  • Look for Cincinnati Heritage Programs’ docents in parking lot
  • Docents will direct you to the Tour which starts at Eastwood Circle

Parking is at Wyoming High School Tennis Courts parking lot at 1052 Springfield Pike.
(Wyoming Tennis Courts Sign and driveway is between 1030 and 1056 Springfield Pike.)

Samuel Hannaford Architecture Downtown Walking Tour

  • Arrive 20 minutes to allow for check-in and ensure prompt start time.
  • Dress for the weather.
  • There is standing throughout the entire tour.
  • Wear comfortable shoes; suggest no sandals or open-toe shoes.
  • There will be uneven sidewalks.
  • Tour is NOT handicap accessible.
  • No restrooms available.
  • Lunch or water is not included.
  • Must be at least 12 years of age and if under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • To make it easier for metal detector scanning at City Hall, minimize what you carry. We suggest wearing cross-over style purses or fanny-packs

Tour meets outside of the old Washington Platform Restaurant at 1000 Elm Street, Cincinnati, OH 45220. Look for Cincinnati Heritage Programs’ docents at corner of Elm and Court Streets.

If you find it necessary to cancel, please call (513) 287-7031 prior to the registration deadline of your tour in order to receive a refund, less a $10 per person cancellation fee.
