Spend spring break with us at Union Terminal and the Cincinnati Country Day School

Spring Museum Camps are hosted on-site at Cincinnati Museum Center and off-site at Cincinnati Country Day School.

All Spring Museum Camps are sold by the day and take place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • $50 per day for Members
  • $55 per day for non-Members

Before care and after care is available each day for on-site and off-site camps.

  • Before care begins at 7:30 a.m. Pricing per day is $5 for Members and $10 for non-Members.
  • After care is available until 6 p.m. Pricing per day is $10 for Members and $15 for non-Members.
Spring Break Week One: March 25–29 at Cincinnati Museum Center

March 25

  • K–1: Dinosaur Discovery: Dig up some fun as we learn all about dinosaurs! Explore the incredible specimens in our Dinosaur Hall, dig up and identify fossils and show off your prehistoric knowledge as we play games and have a RAWRing good time.
  • 2–4: Paleontology, Jr.: Daspletosaurus, Galeamopus and Torvasaurus, oh my! Unearth an exciting journey in our Dinosaur Hall as we discover the prehistoric animals that once roamed our earth.
  • 5–8: Paleontology: Discover the groundbreaking paleontology happening here in Cincinnati as you study our rare specimens in Dinosaur Hall, meet the team working in our Paleontology Lab and experiment with research technologies!

March 26

  • K–1: Tinkering with Toys: Do you have what it takes to make the fastest racecar or the cuddliest stuffed animal? Show off your toy-making skills as we design our very own games!
  • 2–4: Mischievous Makers: From sticky messes to clever creations, are you a mischief maker? Join us as we put our design-minds to the test and “make” our way through a series of challenges!
  • 5–8: Master Makers: From computers, to clothing, to candy, everything around us is engineered! Join the maker movement as you learn to use tools, explore different technologies and engineer a design of your own.

March 27

  • K–1: Cincinnati Spy: Your top secret mission will require you to decode clues, search for fingerprints and travel back in time to Cincinnati’s Public Landing. Are you ready to solve this history mystery?
  • 2–4: Pharaoh Fun: Walk like an Egyptian! Visit our featured exhibit, Egypt, and join us in ancient Egypt as we explore the pyramids, uncover artifacts and decipher hieroglyphics.
  • 5–8: Exploring Egypt: Pyramids, pharaohs and more await you on this adventure to the past! Visit our featured exhibit, Egypt, and join us in ancient Egypt as we uncover artifacts, decipher hieroglyphics and explore mythology.

March 28

  • K–1: LEGO Master Builder: A Master Builder doesn’t need instructions, just an imagination! Take part in building challenges, learn engineering basics and let your creativity run wild.
  • 2–4: LEGO Engineering: Discover different types of engineering and put your skills to the test as you participate in design challenges and learn to build simple machines.
  • 5–8: Robotics: Try your hand at code as we spend the day exploring various robotic technologies, from Spheros to LEGO Mindstorms!

March 29

  • K–1: Messy Science: Spend the day getting your hands dirty as we dive into some messy science! Grab a lab coat, safety goggles and gloves, because it’s time for YOU to be the scientist!
  • 2–4: Crazy Chemistry: Bring out your inner chemist and join us for some icky, sticky experiments. Mix and blend your own concoctions to learn which chemicals react to cause flashes and bangs!
  • 5–8: Super STEM: Goggles and lab coats on! Explore hands-on science and explosive demonstrations in our STEM Classroom as we experiment with chemicals, compounds and creativity!

  • K–2: Storybook Science: Fi-fi-fo-FUN! Use your engineering powers to save the day as we venture through Once Upon a Time-land with our favorite storybook characters.
  • 3–7: Harry Potter: You’re a wizard, campers, and you have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Join us for a magical day full of potions, spells and Quidditch! Costumes are encouraged, but not required.

March 27

  • K–2: Jr. Jedi: Happening this spring, in a galaxy not too far, far away … Padawans are needed to help the cause and restore freedom! Hop in your speeder, find the droids you are looking for and help save the galaxy. May the Force be with you! Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
  • 3–7: Star Wars: Happening this spring, in a galaxy not too far, far away … rebel spaceships plan to overtake the evil Galactic Empire! Sharpen your Jedi skills, build a lightsaber and save the galaxy. May the Force be with you! Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
