Treat the special woman in your life to brunch at Cincinnati Museum Center
Come for Mother’s Day Brunch, stay for a day of family fun
CINCINNATI – For years growing up mom made you breakfast in the morning. Sometimes it was bacon and eggs. Other times it was just a bowl of your favorite cereal. A few glorious mornings it was powdered donuts and chocolate milk. This year, why not return the favor and let us cook for you and your mom. Cincinnati Museum Center is hosting Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 10 at 10 a.m. with brunch for the special woman in your life.
Mother’s Day Brunch is an opportunity for you and your mom to enjoy a delicious brunch without the cooking that comes with it. Sample a scrumptious array of breakfast favorites like scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage. For those with a sweet tooth, stock up on decadent items including fresh waffles with toasted pecan butter, strawberry compote and maple syrup and house-baked pastries and assorted desserts. Add sliced fruit and berries for a fresh twist. And what’s brunch without lunch selections like fresh salads and grilled bruschetta chicken with whipped potatoes. Wash it all down with orange juice, freshly brewed coffee and tea and a complimentary mimosa or champagne for mom upon arrival.
After brunch leave the dishes on the table (we’ll take care of those, too) and take mom on an adventure around the world. Experience the beauty and grace of the world’s most acrobatic whales as you swim alongside them in the new OMNIMAX® film Humpback Whales. Join scientists as they follow these mysterious creatures on a 6,000 mile journey from the frigid waters of Alaska to the tropical coasts of Hawaii and the Tongas.
After Humpback Whales, explore three world-class museums for a day you and your family will never forget. Whether it’s the 500 feet of twists and turns of the Museum of Natural History & Science’s cave, the cobbled streets of the Public Landing in the Cincinnati History Museum or the tunnels and bridges of the Woods in the Duke Energy Children’s Museum, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy at Cincinnati Museum Center.
