We are not currently booking Birthday Parties, Scout Programs or Overnights.

Cincinnati Museum Center is pleased to offer a range of programs for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Wolf Cubs, Bear Cubs, and WEBELOS scouts. All programs include private classroom demonstrations, discussions, and exploration time in the Museum.
Public Scout Programs
Program Fees
Museum Members: $12.00 per scout, adults are free
Non-Members: $15.00 per scout, $5.00 per adult
We welcome groups as well as individuals based on availability. Please make reservations at least two weeks before the scheduled program. There is an additional fee of $5 per person for reservations made within two weeks of a program.
An adult must accompany the child or in the case of groups, at least one adult chaperone must be present for every 10 scouts. Reservations may be made on online or by calling (513) 287-7001.

Private Scout Programs
Can’t make it to any of our scheduled dates? Private Scout Programs allow you to pick the day and badge for your group. Private programs can be booked at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays by calling our main reservations line. Each program lasts approximately two hours. Programs must be booked at least three weeks in advance. If you’d like to book a private program at a different day or time, please contact our manager of Public Programs James Aubin at jaubin@cincymuseum.org.
Cost is $250 for up to 20 people. Each additional scout is $12 and each additional adult is $5.
Any of our public scout programs may be purchased as a private program. Additionally the following programs are also available for Private Scout reservations:

Overnight Scout Programs

Girl Scout Programs
Cincinnati Museum Center is pleased to offer an entirely new group of badges this year for Girl Scouts! Focusing on Robotics and Space each badge is designed for that girl’s age level to help teach them about the amazing wonders of our universe, and the incredible new technologies emerging in the field of robotics.
In the space science series of badges girls will learn to observe the sky, the sun, moon, and stars, like real space scientists. Daisies will start out with what’s right around us, the Moon and Sun. Brownies and Juniors will work their way even further out as the explore our solar system and the stars beyond

Girl scouts will learn about what a robot is, how it works and what it does before going on to design and build their own prototypes. They will also have a chance to be introduced to coding, the basic language computers and robots use to do their jobs!

Wolf Digging in the Past
Rawr you ready to learn about dinosaurs?! In the this Cub Scout elective adventure, Wolf Cubs will learn about the field of paleontology while playing dinosaur games, casting fossils, and creating a fossil layer snack! (Please note if your scout has any severe food allergies.)

Wolf Motor Away
Get ready to investigate and discover how things move in this Cub Scout elective adventure. Test out different methods for paper airplanes, experiment with boat designs, and create a car that moves on its own power.

Bear Robotics NEW!
Learn about robots and how they are helping humans work in entirely new ways. Research different types of robots and get a chance to build your own!

Bear Make it Move
Discover the many ways simple machines help us every day during this Bear Cub elective adventure. Experiment with pulleys, incline planes, wedges and other simple machines to move small objects; then create a Rube Goldberg type machine to show what you have learned!

Webelos Adventures in Science NEW!
In this WEBELOS Elective adventure learn what makes an experiment a reliable way to learn about our world, build scientific models, and (under the supervision of our team) use household chemicals to create safe reactions!

Webelos Engineer
Discover the many different career paths that engineering can take you during this Webelos elective adventure. Take a look at blue prints and how they are used to build and create new structures, then learn how to build a few gadgets that show off your engineering knowledge and skills.

Cancellation policy
Public Scout Programs
If you need to cancel your reservation, we ask that you do so two weeks prior to your scheduled program to receive your full refund. If you cancel your reservation within 13 days of your scheduled program you will receive a full refund less $10. If you cancel your reservation the day of your program no refund will be given.
Private Scout Programs
If you need to cancel your reservation, we ask that you do so two weeks prior to your scheduled program to receive your full refund. If you cancel your reservation within 13 days of your scheduled program you will receive a full refund less $50. If you cancel your reservation the day of your program no refund will be given.
