Chloe Greenberg: Art and Story Time in KidSPACE

Join us for a joyful Art & Story Time featuring My Autistic Mama by autistic author Kati Hirschy. This heartwarming children’s book celebrates autism through a positive, affirming lens highlighting autistic traits with pride, love and authenticity. It offers meaningful representation for autistic children and provides allistic (non-autistic) children with an inclusive, respectful understanding of autism.

After the reading, children will create their own painted collage paper masterpieces in a hands-on workshop inspired by the book’s themes of creativity, identity and self-expression. This welcoming event is perfect for autistic and allistic children alike, fostering connection, understanding and artistic exploration for all.
