Ignite a love for science and technology by becoming a STEM Girl Today!
Discover authentic and relevant STEM experiences in our free program aimed at children grades 3rd-8th. All participants, regardless of gender, are welcome! Meet women actively working in STEM-related fields, and learn what they do through hands-on presentations and programing!
*Participants that are 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult, who must stay in the room for the duration of the program. Participants that are 13 and older may attend by themselves but may not count as a guardian for younger members.

Exploring an Ancient Ocean at Cincinnati Museum Center (Grades 3rd-5th)

Join Dr. Brenda Hunda, Curator of Invertebrate Paleontology and lead curator of the Ancient Worlds Hiding in Plain Sight exhibit to explore and discuss life in Cincinnati 450 million years ago. We will discover ancient animals and ecosystems and explore them through scientific evidence and art.

Join the GE Aerospace’s Women’s Network in a session about the science behind one of the greatest engineering marvels of all time – FLIGHT! GE Aerospace is 100-year-old company that focuses on being on the cutting edge of jet engine design and in this workshop not only will you learn about the forces of flights, but you will get to be part of a hands-on experiment demonstrating everything you learned.
