STEM Girls University Courses

STEM Girls University is a program designed to introduce STEM Girls participants to STEM concepts through in-depth discussion and activities featuring women in science. University courses will be taking place at Union Terminal.

Saturday, February 2: How Weather Shapes the World

By working with Sanitation District No. 1, students will learn how our planet’s weather shapes the world we see around us.

Saturday, March 2: Watershed and Water Bugs

Students will work with Sanitation District No. 1 and learn about the amazing ecosystems in and around our local waterways.

Saturday, April 6: Exploring Engineering

Students will get an in-depth look at engineering from female professionals in the field. This program will feature guests from the University of Cincinnati Society of Women Engineers.

STEM Girls Day Out Courses

STEM Girls Day Out is a program that brings STEM Girls participants directly to the labs, facilities, and offices of women who are actively working in STEM fields. We will have an inside look at how STEM jobs are being done all around the tri-state region! Prepare to spend an afternoon exploring active STEM work sites, participating in STEM activities, discussing STEM careers and making new friends along the way.
