Deaf Day with Cincinnati Heritage Programs
Saturday, May 11 | 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Interpreters from Cincinnati State’s Interpreter Training Program will be partnering with Cincinnati Museum Center’s Cincinnati Heritage Programs docents for a free tour. Please join us if you are Deaf, Hard of Hearing or just interested in learning more sign language!
Discover Union Terminal, Cincinnati’s most iconic National Historic Landmark. During a free, 45-minute walking tour of the 1933 train station, docents partnered with ASL interpreters explain the architecture, construction and art of one of the finest examples of the Art Deco style, including the world famous mosaic murals.
These limited capacity public tours are first come, first served and will depend on availability.
When: Saturday, May 11 at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Deaf Day in POMPEII: The Exhibition
Saturday, July 13 | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Interpreters from Cincinnati State’s Interpreter Training Program will be in Cincinnati Museum Center’s featured exhibition, POMPEII: The Exhibition. Please join us if you are Deaf, Hard of Hearing or just interested in learning more sign language!
What nature destroyed, it also preserved. On August 24, 79 A.D., the city of Pompeii was frozen in time by the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius. But what nature destroyed, it also preserved. Through 150 artifacts, POMPEII: The Exhibition tells the tale of a city hidden from view and forgotten for centuries.
When: Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
