Julia Child: A Recipe for Life
February 1 – May 18, 2025
Julia Child: A Recipe for Life explores the key ingredients in Julia’s personal journey, which became part of America’s culinary revolution, through a series of immersive experiences.
Step on set of an interactive “The French Chef” studio kitchen and reserve at seat at the La Couronne restaurant. Find your favorite recipes in a giant reproduction of Mastering the Art of French Cooking as it comes to life with animated text and illustrations. Sprinkle STEM onto your dish by trying your hand at converting recipes from metric to imperial units, just as Julia did for her readers. Read fan letters from people who adored Julia and share your own heartfelt “Dear Julia” message. You can even recreate one of Julia’s and her beloved Paul’s iconic Valentine’s Day cards by posing in the bathtub.
Julia’s insatiable curiosity and tenacious spirit drove her to endlessly try, test and teach how to make delicious food. Learning to cook empowered Julia, and she empowered others, profoundly transforming American cuisine and food culture in the process.

The exhibition celebrates Barbie as a reflection of culture, featuring a priceless collection of over 300 artifacts from the 66-year history of Barbie, including the very first 1959 doll, an original Barbe Dreamhouse, behind the scenes prototypes, as well as some of the most infamous Barbie dolls throughout history. Guests will also find numerous photo ops throughout the exhibition for shareable moments.
Today, Barbie is the most diverse doll line in the world, inspiring girls to imagine everything they can become. A role model, a muse, a best friend – Barbie means something to everyone. Step back into your childhood and join us on this exhibition of a six-decade evolution, and the making of a global icon.
