The Stuart Shuster Train Story

During the restoration and repair of Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal, the Duke Energy Trains could not be displayed during the 2016 holiday season. However, there were still trains at the Museum Center. They were on display in the Rotunda's temporary lobby, rather than the traditional Fountain Gallery.
Stuart Shuster, a retired General Motors designer from Birmingham, Michigan, donated a pre-war Lionel train layout for use in 2016's holiday train exhibit. Created using original and reproduction Lionel trains and accessories, Stuart’s layout has all the bells and whistles that our visitors, young and old, have come to expect at Museum Center during the holidays.
