New dining option provides energy for extended museum visits
Cr(eat)e Cafe opens at Cincinnati Museum Center Oct. 2
CINCINNATI - You’ll soon find new ways to fuel play at Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC). The museum is preparing to debut a new dining option outside The Children’s Museum that will feature allergy-friendly kid and adult favorites. The Cr(eat)e Café, developed with and operated by CMC’s food service partners the SSA Group, will open October 2.
Inspired by CMC’s Cr(eat)e Culinary Studio featuring the Kroger Food Lab, the Cr(eat)e Café will also encourage learning and exploration by nourishing bodies and minds to power even more exploration. The Cr(eat)e Café updates the museum’s former Lower Level dining option and simplifies the menu around items that are quicker to make and more consistent to execute. Menu items will include cheese and pepperoni flatbreads, plus a rotating special; pesto chicken sandwiches and falafel wraps; Caesar salads and Greek rice bowls; and childhood icons like turkey and cheese pinwheels, quesadillas and sun butter and jelly sandwiches.
The Cr(eat)e Café will expand CMC’s dining options, all operated by the SSA Group, which currently includes Nourish 513, featuring classics like burgers, sandwiches, chicken fingers and salads; Cup N’ Pint, featuring Slush Puppies, snacks, beer and wine; and a grab-and-go coffee cart with premade fruit and veggie snacks, sandwiches and fresh coffee.
