Docent Guided Tour of The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center, located in historic Union Terminal

This guided tour offers a localized, personal look at Holocaust history. Through powerful storytelling and survivor testimony, visitors will learn how the Holocaust impacted Cincinnati—and how survivors rebuilt their lives and shaped the community we know today.
Circles of Humanity: Guided Discussion
(1 hour)
This session, facilitated by experts in Holocaust education, provides space for participants to process the emotional weight of Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away. Through reflective conversation and guided activities, individuals will explore the human impact of the Holocaust and consider how its lessons call us to be active upstanders today. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how we can learn from the universal messages of the Holocaust—and how each of us holds the responsibility to create ripples of humanity in our own communities.
Holocaust Speaker: A Personal Testimony Experience
(1 hour)
Through the Coppel Speakers Bureau, your group will hear the powerful firsthand testimony of a Holocaust survivor or a descendant of a survivor. These intimate stories bring history to life in unforgettable ways. Participants will gain not only historical insight, but also a deeply personal connection to resilience, memory, and the enduring impact of hatred—and hope. This experience creates a bridge between past and present, helping to ensure that the voices of those who lived through the Holocaust continue to inspire future generations.
Antisemitism Workshop
(2 hours)
This in-depth workshop equips participants to recognize and confront antisemitism in all its forms—past and present. Through interactive discussion and critical reflection, participants will explore Jewish identity, the evolution of antisemitic stereotypes and conspiracy theories, and how they manifest today. The session includes a brief guided tour of the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center, providing historical context that deepens understanding. Drawing on the museum’s resources and educational tools, this experience connects past to present with urgency and relevance. By the end, participants will leave empowered with knowledge, empathy, and practical strategies to take meaningful action against antisemitism and other forms of hate.
Upstander Workshop
(2 hours)
This engaging, hands-on workshop invites participants of all ages to explore what it means to be an upstander in today’s world. Through interactive activities and reflection, individuals will consider their personal values and character strengths while learning from real-life examples of people who made a difference. The session includes a brief guided tour of the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center, offering powerful stories of courage, resistance, and action. Drawing on the museum’s resources, this experience empowers participants to identify meaningful ways to take action in their communities.
