Museum takes dinner and a movie to the MAX

Help cook through a three-course, film-inspired meal at Cincinnati Museum Center's OMNIMAX® Dinner Date; tickets on sale now

CINCINNATI - Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) is once again taking dinner and a movie to the MAX. Their OMNIMAX® Dinner Date offers you a dome-cooked meal and an immersive film experience that supersizes a date night classic. With four dates planned in 2026, the series is serving up space age flavors, cooking local and crafting prehistoric plates. The 2026 season kicks off January 23 with a fresh and flavorful seafood feast inspired by Secrets of the Sea. Limited tickets are available for all four OMNIMAX® Dinner Dates now.

Inspired by some of the museum’s favorite giant screen films, OMNIMAX® Dinner Date curates a themed three-course dinner and shows you the techniques to pull it all together. With over 20 OMNIMAX® films to choose from, CMC’s food service partners the SSA Group can find menu inspiration to create a seafood feast, dinner fit for royalty and bites that are out of this world.

OMNIMAX® Dinner Date’s January 23 Secrets of the Sea-inspired meal features a bounty of flavors waiting to be discovered. Chefs took inspiration from the film’s exotic locations and the beautiful ways marine species interact and depend on each other, allowing various flavor profiles to balance and enhance each other. During the meal, a team of chefs will show you and your friends the techniques to make the dishes and ask you to lend a hand in the preparation.

Before the meal, enjoy nori chips with sesame and sea salt, bagna cauda with crudité and smoked salmon mousse blini. After dinner, dive into an underwater world as Secrets of the Sea surrounds you with some of the ocean’s strangest and most spectacular creatures. From the Philippines, Mexico and Tahiti, to Indonesia, Hawaii and California, immerse yourself in 15 spectacular locations.

Tickets are $150 per person and include a three-course meal, custom cocktail, beer and wine and OMNIMAX® screening. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at cincymuseum.org/omnimax-dinner-date.
